| How to Compress a Video File With Windows Movie Maker
|
| Saturday
|
In order for your movie to be easily watched over the Web, you need to compress the size of the video file. There are a few FREE video editing programs available that can help. The most popular program among videobloggers is Windows Movie Maker.
Depending on what version of Windows XP you have, Movie Maker comes installed.
To compress a video file, you have to open this program and click on Import Video link in the menu on the left side.
Choose the video file that you want to import, and download it to the program. Drag a video clip with your mouse, and drop it on the Time line below. Now click on FILE at the top, and then Save Movie File
Choose My computer, and click next
Enter a file name for your video, and choose a directory to save your file to. Click Next In the new window, click on Sh ow more choices link. Check the box Other Settings, and a new menu will appear. Open the menu, and select any of three given options for “Video for Broadband”: 512 Kbps, 340Kbps, and 150Kbps. 512Kbps offers the best quality, but is also the largest file. In my example I chose the smallest file size, which is “Video for Broadband 150 Kbps” Click Next, and save your movie in the smaller file size. Click Finish. Now your movie has been saved to your computer as a much smaller file size, and you can upload it to other sites in a compressed format

| How To Get Free Music For Your Podcast
|
| Wednesday
|
If you get involved with video or audio content, then sooner or later you begin to think about adding music to your podcast. You will quickly discover that to buy even 30 seconds of music is an expensive proposition Because my blog is mainly about building your Internet business for little or no expense, I will show a no-cost method of getting music as well.
When I attended podcasting Expo in California, I met representatives from IODA Promonet , the leading distributor of independent music, helping over 2500 labels of all genres distribute their music throughout the world. As they wrote on this website, “Promonet was designed to help you quickly find free, pre-cleared MP3s for use in your blog or podcast.”
Why do they offer the music for free? Because it is a very clever way of promoting artists! In return they ask you to include the album cover art and a link to the artist and/or the label’s web site..

| Storing Videos
|
| Tuesday
|
The most effective video is one that lasts for less than five minutes. You can create videos limited only by your imagination; anything from “how to” videos to autobiographies. Almost half of all American Internet users have high-speed access, whether it is cable or DSL, so watching videos should not be a problem.
If you need to find a website to store video files, I suggest using Internet Archive where you can upload your files and host them for free. This service generates a link to your video. After you place a link pointing to a video file on your blog, your visitors will be able to see it by clicking on the link.
Another free service is Blip.tv. This service will also host your video for free and generate a link to where it is stored. Additionally, it can transfer a video to your blog if you choose to do so. Is that great or what? Just make a video, upload the file to Blip.tv, click a couple buttons, and viola! This video will show up on your blog, immediately.
Other Storage Sites
There are a few more popular sites where you can save your video Yahoo Video Google Video YouTube
Uploading a video file is extremely easy through these services, and it is even easier transferring video to your blog.Labels: storing video, video, Videoblogging |

| The amazingly simple way to add affiliate links to your video
|
| Thursday
|
At a time when a growing amount of video-based content is taking the Internet by storm, more and more entrepreneurs are trying to find ways to monetize their video material. Video combined with affiliate links could be an excellent way to increase your online income. However the software that allow to insert links into videos are expensive and not easy to understand or work with.
This situation was changed by the online service BubblePly who came up with a fantastic tool that allows the adding of links to a video. In just a few seconds you can add links, comments, pictures and even animations to your video! This free tool is one of the greatest things I've seen in the last few years.
How does BubblePly work?
First of all, I should mention that BubblePly does not host videos. So, you can use your own videos or videos from Blip.TV, Google Video, Metacafe, YouTube, and others video portals.
Here’s what you should do:
1. Copy the URL of a video you want to add a link to.
2. Paste the URL into the text window at BubblePLY.com
3. After a few seconds, your video will open in the PLY creator. PLY is a transparent layer that is placed over a video and does not disturb the original content
4. Add text or a hyperlink to the video. There are two ways to add a hyperlink: You can add a link to the bottom of the video, or you can create specific words hyperlinked in the text which you have added to the video. When somebody clicks on the hyperlink, it will open in a new browser while the video is still continuing to play.
This idea is brilliant; although not every creator of video content is going to appreciate that anyone could take their videos and put links on top of it. That is why, in my opinion,it is safer to use your own videos.
For affiliates, this tool is very helpful because you now have the ability to incorporate a link easily into videos and increase your sales tremendously. To see video tutorial click here: "The amazingly simple way to add affiliate links to your video" -------------------------- ----------------------- Cash For Bloggers
