It took me fifteen years to discover that I had no talent for writing, but I couldn't give it up because by that time I was too famous”. Robert Benchley
The most complicated yet the most the profitable way to get content is to write your own articles. If this idea frightens you, please don’t be. Most Internet users prefer to read articles which are short and written in plain English. If you can talk with people, you will also be able to write short articles of 250 to 300 words.
Below I have listed seven ways of finding hot topics for your articles
1. Your own forum can be an excellent source for new articles because you can see what discussions are really hot and interesting to your visitors. Choose any hot topic, and write a short article about it. Do not make the subject complicated. Keep it very simple. For example, Five Key Tips on whatever the subject it is.
2. If you don’t have your own forum, do research through other forums, or through Google discussion groups.
3. Make a summary of your FAQ section, and use it as an article.
4. If you write reviews, then put a few reviews together and make it into an article. These types of articles are very profitable because you are able to insert affiliate links seamlessly.
5. Another idea for writing a short article is utilizing a “solution to a problem” method. First, describe the problem, and then explain the solution. Bind it all together by writing the conclusion.
6. If you know of a service that can solve a particular problem, then become their affiliate and recommend this service at the end of your article utilizing your affiliate links. Write an article in which you have described no more than five services or top book that you would like to recommend.
7. If you get stuck for an idea, then go to any keyword search website such as Pixelfast.com. Type your keyword into the search field, and you will come up with many ideas.
For example if you want a golf related article, just type in the keyword “golf” into the search field. You will get results like golf training, miniature golf, golf vacation, golf equipment supply, golf gifts, master golf tournament, golf club review, and history of golf. Each of these key phrases can be a topic for a future article.

Search through your own forum or other forums that are similar in nature to your subject. Write down the most common questions asked on these forums, then write down your own answers. Make these questions and answers a part of your blog by creating a Frequently Asked Questions page ( FAQ).
Another way of creating a FAQ is by offering the questions to your forum visitors and checking their answers. Copy the best answers and place them in your blog with a link back to the discussion.

Subscribe to the Google Alert on the subject related to your topic, and you will receive news from Google daily or as it happens. To have fresh content in the news section of your blog, write a summary of the current news in your own words.

| Reviews-a very good source for free content
|

A very good source for free content are reviews of products, books or services on the topic related to your blog. Sometimes, sites with whom you are affiliated with offer pre-written reviews.
If you cannot find ready-to-use reviews, then write them yourself. Don’t forget to place an affiliate link at the end of your short review and connect it to such verbiage as, "Find out more here."
Many affiliate brokers offer to point an affiliate link to any reviewed product. Use this opportunity, and your affiliate sales could go through the roof.
Just remember that you are not in the business to sell, unless of course you have your own product. So, don’t push your visitors to buy. Slowly develop a trusting relationship with them by offering free and useful reviews of products or services.
This tactic is known as “pre-sell” or soft sell.
If you can master the art of pre-selling, then you can make more money than those who have pushy selling attitudes. Often people search the Internet for an item that they want to buy. They compare manufacture models, prices, and technical characteristics in order to be confident that their choice is the right one.
By offering a review- comparison between two or more related products or services, you can help these people to make a decision. Showing the differences and similarities and letting people make their choice, is a great PRE-selling technique.
